    The Everything 3D Printer Thread

There are some really interesting projects in this thread. Quick question from someone who hasn't purchased one yet. I'm curious what the expenses are for printing, for example the screwdriver holder? I recognize that it's a hobby and the price is secondary (as my wife can attest) thx

    M9 bolts

I never found a bolt that fit the threads of the Milwaukee polisher. It's interesting that it's such a strange size and pitch. I've been tempted to try to tap it out to a normal/available size but that's pretty drastic.

Table top drill press and debris

Thanks Lynden, the first image makes a lot of sense, I'm doing mostly metal drilling and my garage is way too small.

Table top drill press and debris

I have a simple benchtop drill press (https://www.harborfreight.com/power-tools/woodworking/8-in-5-speed-bench-drill-press-60238.html) and am wondering what people are doing to keep control of the waste that the drill makes when using it? I have it on the end of my workbench and haven't...

    Hercules cordless tools (Harbor Freight)

A little grinding on my black and decker battery lets me use it with a porter cable impact driver. It was a cheap way getting a decent impact without having to adopt yet another battery set. I standardized on B&D for yard work and this was a branch into something that can do lug nuts.

Recommendations & Comments 4 Cordless Polisher

I have the Milwaukee M12 and while it's a nice polished I was hoping to use it as a sander to strip some paint off and old cart. The bad news is that it uses a very strange M9 thread on the chuck. I searched high and low for an adapter or even some bolts to use so I can adapt the polisher to...

Cabinet for Small Parts Storage Cases

Thanks for the info, that's a neat storage rack, does it handle heavy cases though?

Cabinet for Small Parts Storage Cases

Sorry for the hijack - I'm going through boxes and boxes of legos trying to sort and store. Do the HF boxes work well for that? I would think that they would be good for the unique shapes but the 2x4, etc would quickly overwhelm the boxes.

Cabinet for Small Parts Storage Cases

I second the Brother extra strength labels. They stick really well and none have peeled from my cases. I'm still having a heck of a time getting the labels off the case though. Considering the cases come wrapped in plastic it's sad that they have to use such strong glue.

    M9 bolts

Thanks for all the replies, I'll give Tacoma a call. If you look at the service manual it shows the thread as m9 x .75 https://documents.milwaukeetool.com/54-32-2400.pdf Thanks again for responses, Bob

    M9 bolts

Hi, I'm having an impossible time trying to find m9 x .75 bolts either at Ace or online. The thread is on my Milwakee M12 polisher and I'm trying to adapt some brushes for cleaning stuff. I've searched bolt depot, etc but it seems that everyone goes m8 then m10. What is even more frustrating...

    Tape management

Thanks everyone for the quick replies. I'll look at the long hooks. I don't have a peg board in the current shop but I have a drill and walls which is close to the same thing.

    Tape management

I'm looking for any ideas on better management of all of the different tape that I have lying around the shop. A quick glance shows: Duck tape Duct tape (the silver stuff used to seal air ducts) Various electrical tape Blue painters tape Double sided tape Teflon and plumbers tape Packing tape...
