If you ever want to lighten that drawer, let me know! I love those screwdrivers and have scoured the craftsman site and clearance in numerous sears. All I can find new are odd sizes and lengths.
Picked these up last time for 20 bucks. They're worth the price. While I'd like the pro handle version, I can't justify 50 bucks for 3 pry bars I use infrequently.
I'm mostly CMan with the exception of the snap on stuff I bought off the truck in the 80's when i was young and dumb and full of...well,you know. I'm sorry they ditched the pro screwdriver line. Those new "diamond" tips are too big. they're wood workers tools to me.
Also, I'd like to see Sears...
Garbage picked this from work today. Can anyone tell me anything about it and is it worth fixing or restoring it? I can "fix' it enough to be serviceable, but is it worth the effort to do it well and maybe sell it?
Thanks all! hehe MWT said "beaver"..... The holes don't look bad under the tape, they're just not where i wanted them. Even if I had succeeded, it would have looked like **** but thanks for offering to bail me out Kevin! NOW, I"m going to "just" cut the center out and make a top hat. The filter...
Well, 2 back surgeries and I'm better than new!? Unfortunately, I can't say the same for my air cleaner. It's a mess.... but here it is, in all it's misaligned glory. Now we know why I'm not a machinist or tool maker.... srmofo, I actually did download that CAD program but couldn't devote enough...
If you're stripping / crimping all day, get separate tools. You need real leverage (9") if you're doing a lot of crimping. I found that out the hard way. I use Craftsman strippers and Klien crimpers.
If you're just doing a few at a time, those NAPA strippers look good, I like having the...
Those first one's are cool but I have to get an allen in the center of the wrench at the same time. I don't know why I never think of ebay, I just bid on that wrench, Thanks!
Happy Motoring!
Hi All!
I've been looking around for an 11/16 offset box wrench (about 70degree offset) I've found a few online but I"m really looking for something old or unique. I use this for motorcycle clutch adjustments. Any suggestions other than taking a torch to an existing wrench? If someone has...
Me too. I have the same set that I don't use much. My original thought was It's a metric/SAE set in a carry case seemed flexible for out in the woods on the quads and in the mud trucks. I've used it some but like you said, its awkward, the sockets fall out of the "ratchet" ...I'll keep it but...
I use mostly craftsman as I was brought up on them. My first tool set was from sears. When I worked as a service mechanic, I bought into the tool truck BS. I spent a lot of money and didn't see much difference between the Craftsman wrenches, sockets etc I did like the tool truck ratchets because...
