    Galvanized Base Shed

Your information has been very valuable. I'm thinking this is the way I'll be moving forward. Internal bracing noted. Run the LVLs run along the 24ft walls and not the 12 ft ends, or both and intersect at corners? What hardware do you use to attach the beam to the walls? Lags through every stud?

    Galvanized Base Shed

To increase the load capacity of the flooring so I can install a scissor lift, and store heavy machinery (lathe, press, milling machine, engines etc). How are you installing/attaching the beams to the walls? How many bottle jacks per side do you think I would need? Yes It's 2x4 framed Floor...

    Galvanized Base Shed

I have an existing 12x24 shed with a galvanized steel base and plywood floor. It's joists are 24" spaced with concrete blocks and wood leveling wedges in some spots. Load rating is 50psf. I want it on a concrete foundation but not sure how I should approach it. What are your thoughts on...

Which disposable ear plugs do you recommend?

I use plugs daily in a high noise industrial setting. We have access to just about every option out there at our safety store. General consensus for comfort, noise cancelation and ease of use are the Moldex Sparkplug. MOLDEX Sparkplugs Soft Foam Earplugs 50 Pairs Ear Plugs for Sleeping...

Michelin 3.5 ton floor jack help

Thanks, it has been sitting up for a few years and I don't recall if it was working or not. So that is the way I have it oriented currently. I need to take it back apart, the ball bearings may of blown out when the spring shot out. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

Michelin 3.5 ton floor jack help

On the quick lift port, the piece that goes along with the spring, does it sit on top or bottom of the spring and which way does the pointed end face? Mine blew out when I was trying to bleed it and not 100% sure how that piece works. I currently have it on the bottom of the spring with the...

    Work mechanic gloves

If you don't mind spending the money, these Hyflex gloves are the best I've ever used, fit, form and function. We use them in the refinery and at home they last a fairly long time and have great dexterity. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

    Paint removal or lost cause?

Use CitrusStrip paint Remover. Glob it on and cover with plastic bags. Paint will be gone in a few hours. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

Same torque? The 1/2" 2763 impact has 700lb/ft fastening and 1100 breaking The 3/8 2754 impact wrench has 210lb/ft I have both and use the 3/8 primarily for auto work. Use the 1/2 on lugs, axles. Really depends on what you're using it for. Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk

I ended up adding the 2704 to the lineup. Runout measured with a Mitutoyo dial test indicator, strapped down, is around 0.015. There is some visual wobble on longer bits. I'm unsure if I'm going to swap it out or just keep it. It's a hand drill after all not a milling machine. Sent from my...

Most the reviews online for the 2704 hammer drill I've read mention chuck wobble. I really wanted to get a gen 2 but this seems to be a very common problem with them. Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk
