Yea, I was gonna suggest a used Snapper. I've had my Snapper (with a B&S, if I had to do it over again I'd get a Kawasaki) for 11 years now and never had any issues with it.

In to win, and get a massive upgrade from my cheapo Husky 3/8" impact. If I do win in fact I'll pay it forward to someone that wants a cheapo Husky :-)

Agreed. I often go there to see reviews (and take them with a grain of salt) to start my comparison shopping then look on ebay for typically cheaper prices and factor that in against dealing with potential risk. As mentioned above in the thread, I use Google search then click on the shopping...

I agree. I bought one about 15 years ago (with a Honda engine and cheap pump), and granted I've only used it a dozen times or so it still cranks and functions perfectly.

Yea, I ended up just buying the 7" version of the two wrenches cheaper with the same logic that I didn't really need the belt pouch and I felt that 5" wrenches were a bit small anyway. If I do end up wanting the set with the pouch, Father's day isn't too far away :lol:

I use chocks behind the rear wheels while the car is on the ramps and I feel safe.

Is there a specific reason why you want cordless? I personally would go corded for something that gets used that infrequently.

I use the Filtrete reds, which are MERV 11. I have heard the purple ones (higher MERV ratings) are a little too restrictive. I buy them either 6 or 12 at a time from here - http://www.fridgefilters.com/water-and-air-filters/l/brand/filtrete/merv/merv-11.html I don't see your size though...
