Well I figured i would update. Since the temperature has been consistent the floor has not sweat at all. So condensation was due to the fluctuating temperatures between night and day here. I guess Ill just have to heat it at night in spring and fall. No big deal. Floor is still holding up good.
No clear top coat. The fist pics are fresh after installation. The pic with my escalade in the garage is almost a month after it was done. It doesn't have the shiny look if you use the garage as a garage. I suppose if you kept it clean like in a house it would. I love how I can spill oil and...
I know. I even thought about throwing some together real quick but my help was in a hurry and had to get tO work that afternoon. So I just left it. It's only about a 2foot square in the back corner so I just set my air compressor over it. Problem solved
One more thing bowti. If you plan on throwing flakes do it in sections. I learned the hard way. I used my cut lines as start and stop points then after the first section I learned I couldn't throw them as far as I thought I could. So I have one corner with no flakes.
I kind of figured it was due to Indiana having cold nights and hot days. The warmer it gets at night the less is there. Matter of fact I just went out there and the only wet place today is under the boat. (she hasn't been in the water in 6 months or so).
Bowti. It is crucial you pour this...
Well it took a lot of planning to work around the unpredictable weather but I finished the floor Feb 26th. I waited a week before I drove anything on it. I love it. The look and how easy it cleans is amazing. The only problem I have with it is the whole floor sweats worse than a cold soda...
Im not sure if they make one for gas but I have a heat pump with electric backup in my house and I have a Robert Shaw tstat and I can program it for a 1 2 or 3 temperature difference before it kicks on and I think a 1 over before it kicks off. It was pretty cheap too since its not one of those...
I live in Indiana and I called my power company and they came out and checked my meter and mine will accept two hookups. I haven't ran the wires yet but they gave me a booklet with a diagram of how they want the wires ran then it says to call them and they will hook it to my meter. This will...
I dont think they have a quarry any where near here but they do have a cement mixing facility. Plus you can get several different kinds of small rock and sand there by the truckload.
The crew finished up the tin friday but that is all. I will post some more pictures after they get a little...
Re1. I wish they would have let me play with it.It looked like it was still new. I am paying a crew to build it for me.
Fatboy yes I am in Scottsburg Indiana. Where are you?
Thanks. I mainly needed a place for personal vehicle repairs. My hobbies will hopefully be stored in there as well. I have two ATV's and a bass boat that I want to keep out of the weather. I worked as a diesel mechanic for a few years so now everyone in mine and the wifes family has me work on...
