Well it took a lot of planning to work around the unpredictable weather but I finished the floor Feb 26th. I waited a week before I drove anything on it. I love it. The look and how easy it cleans is amazing. The only problem I have with it is the whole floor sweats worse than a cold soda outside in August. I am constantly moping up moisture to make a dry spot to work. Is there anything I can do to prevent this besides heating it at night?

If the humidity is really high right now, the moisture will condensate on the surface, you will feel it more with a non porous coating than with plain concrete. Call me if you want to discuss this more in depth.

I kind of figured it was due to Indiana having cold nights and hot days. The warmer it gets at night the less is there. Matter of fact I just went out there and the only wet place today is under the boat. (she hasn't been in the water in 6 months or so).

Bowti. It is crucial you pour this stuff and spread it fast. They say don't mix more than you can spread in 15 min and they mean 10 min. Lol. I did all the prep work meticulously. I hear that is key so I did not skimp any. I even let it dry 2 full days after prep before application to make sure there was no moisture which under the coating causes fish eyes. I luckily had none. It was surprisingly easy. I did use masking tape under the door seal do I could shut the doors while it cured. A friend did his floor with a lesser named product and left the doors open while curing. The neighbors cat walked throught it. He was not happy.

I will also add epoxy coats customer service is outstanding! Their hotline operators will answer any and as many dumb questions you may have. I PMed tiger lady several times as well. The whole staff was very helpful. Thanks again

I can't tell from the pictures what kind of insulation you have in the walls and ceiling. If it is well insulated, that will greatly cut down on the temperature swings and resulting condensation.

One more thing bowti. If you plan on throwing flakes do it in sections. I learned the hard way. I used my cut lines as start and stop points then after the first section I learned I couldn't throw them as far as I thought I could. So I have one corner with no flakes.

I know. I even thought about throwing some together real quick but my help was in a hurry and had to get tO work that afternoon. So I just left it. It's only about a 2foot square in the back corner so I just set my air compressor over it. Problem solved

No clear top coat. The fist pics are fresh after installation. The pic with my escalade in the garage is almost a month after it was done. It doesn't have the shiny look if you use the garage as a garage. I suppose if you kept it clean like in a house it would. I love how I can spill oil and just wipe it up with a towel. No oil dry needed now.

Looks great Brad. I want to do mine, though I'll definitely need to do a heavy duty cleaning / grinding effort to prep the concrete.

Well I figured i would update. Since the temperature has been consistent the floor has not sweat at all. So condensation was due to the fluctuating temperatures between night and day here. I guess Ill just have to heat it at night in spring and fall. No big deal. Floor is still holding up good.

I thought a "plastic" under the concrete slab would prevent the "sweating" ???

....I'm thinking this was not "new" construction, but just asking any way??

....ps., floor looks awsome!!!

On throwing the flakes, wouldn't a hand held spreader work great for this? Like a hand held grass spreader? Seems like it would spread it more uniformly. Just my .02
