Anyone have a connection for better pricing on a 4 post lift?

Buy a bendpak. i loved mine and since I sold the house, i'll be getting 2 new ones in my new garage. It paid for itself and the cheap chinese steel copies are not good to be under if you don't trust it. Safety is worth the cost of GOOD PRODUCTS. just buy Bendpak and be done with it.

$ per sq foot survey for new builds

Thank you for your opinion. I like my house and my neighbors, so I am good here. I used to have a huge house out in the country and a huge garage, that was not desirable for a variety of reasons, but I am good here.

$ per sq foot survey for new builds

Thanks Stuart, i'm in Knoxville TN.. it's a pretty high end neighborhood and the HOA has been very descriptive of what i need to do to make the roof pitch match and have the materials be exactly like the existing houses so build quality is going to be extremely high.

$ per sq foot survey for new builds

Friends, I'm building a small (because the space won't allow) 24x30 garage - but it's going to be full HVAC, plumbing electrical and a brick building to match the existing house next to it. I can afford it, but the dollars per square foot is giving me pause. The bid is for $270 per square...

Bendpak decision: Good, Bad & Ugly

I owned a 4post BendPak 7K Extra Tall, Extra Wide lift for 6 years. i LOVED it, great product and when I had a problem with a pulley, the local dealer made sure it was covered under warranty, i just had to pay a little to put it in. I sold that house and i'm now building a new dream garage and...

30x20 w/ loft - thoughts on first draft layout

Thanks Gerald. i LOVE your build thread. some good ideas in there and I'm happy that it's close to what I am doing. A few of my space saving ideas are: 1) no stairs inside. 4 foot loft for storage only 2) no bathroom, just a urinal and a shop sink both in the back corner for privacy 3) put...

30x20 w/ loft - thoughts on first draft layout

thanks Ducati, i think i'll run some PVC in the concrete floor that will carry lines and hoses, i can put my Lift power and Air thru those lines and that should work for what we're doing. GREAT design point and idea and I greatly appreciate the coaching. The driveway layout needs to be this...

30x20 w/ loft - thoughts on first draft layout

Thanks again for the GJ ideas and thoughts - you guys REALLY are the best. @DucatiThunder - (love that name), i want to save as much space as possible on the work side of the shop, while minimizing the storage size of the shop, but I will look at that closer - thanks buddy.- i think putting it...

30x20 w/ loft - thoughts on first draft layout

Re: 30x24 w/ loft - thoughts on first draft layout Thanks for the ideas guys. Yes. I've removed the loft from the inside and looking for a 9 foot wide storage bay and a 10 foot wide door into a 16 wide workspace around the 2 post lift. I sketched it up like this. Also, thanks twisted for...

30x20 w/ loft - thoughts on first draft layout

yeah, brainfart.. i've stayed up all night watching the Rolex24 from Daytona. It's 30x24 and has a 10 foot overhang carport at the front for Daily driver parking yes. not alot of room in there.. agree. that's why i'm doing 2 levels and lifts.

    Survey Cost

Again. 2D is WAAAAY EASY compared to 3D - it's almost like there is a whole 'nother dimension there. :)

30x20 w/ loft - thoughts on first draft layout

30x24 w/ loft - thoughts on first draft layout Friends, I'm working with an architect designing & building my dream car garage at my new house. i gave up the 7 car huge country house when my wife passed away and moved to the city, so we are looking at a 30x24 spot (all we can do), but we are...

    Survey Cost

There is a big difference between a real estate survey and an construction survey with a 3D topo layout. One is a 2 dimensional survey, the other, a construction survey shows how much dirt needs to be moved and from where to where, it's significantly more work and thus costs more.. I'm about...
