Hi all. I’m looking for someone who has or has used the new Apollo D8 scanner. I have a Solus Edge and wanted to know how the Apollo is compared to it? I can’t seem to find much online about the Apollo aside from the introduction video and a few other things. I know it has the 1 button...
Does anyone here use the new scanner Snappy came out with, EESC333 Apollo D8? Aside from being New how are they compared to the Solus ultra? I have a Solus and wanted to know if it’s worth the upgrade?
I would love to see them succeed. I hope they honor the warranty of the **** they are putting out now and replace it with the better quality stuff when they start making it. I was a big fan of the brand when I was younger and will be again if they start making better quality stuff again.
If you can remove the concrete carefully I would wet sand with 1200 and water then compound, polish and wax just like a car. Hope it works out for you.
After learning my lesson 2 times I will never purchase anything that plugs in from HF. If you want a welder I suggest the big 3 and or checking out USAweld.com and getting an HTP unit, the customer service is exceptional. Just my opinion.
Nice buy. I use PB blaster and a rag, It works for me. It really depends on how deep the rust got into it. If your not happy I'll give ya $55. Good luck!
I don't have numbers but when I was younger and buying lots of Craftsman tools in the late 80,s and 90's I know the ratchets seemed much better. The wrenches didn't seem to spread under torque like the ones today. I do see your point though, it's my opinion verses actual manufacturing data...
I work as a mechanic in a factory. I have all the tools I need and just recently started carrying a Leatherman Charge TTI. It is not a replacement for real tools but its f-ing awesome when your on a rooftop working on something and didn't bring that 1 extra tool. Or in the warehouse a mile away...
I love a Snap On however what your looking for between Gearwrench, Tekton, and SK in my opinion aren't much better than what you had. I suggest Williams tools which is Snap on Industrial, good quality and a fraction of the cost. You could go on EBay and get Used Snap on usually very reasonable...
I have a small medium and large posilock along with Snap On CJ2004 set. They are all great but I lean towards the Snap On set and that part number can be had time to time on EBay for 3 to 4 hundred bucks if your patient. OTC had a couple of decent sets also.
I have never had a problem with Snap on warranty issues in the 27 years I have been buying tools. However I have never bought from anywhere but a dealer, several different dealers though.
