    Van Norman Mill

Van Norman heads tilt 90 degrees from vertical to horizontal. They get the bad rap from the Bridgeport fans because they don't generally have a quill movement. I agree, if I want an all purpose floor mounted drill - A Bridgeport Mill is the best solution. But for actual milling Cincinnati, K&T...

Nice use of that panel Oregon - very organized! I'll be in the 50 taper tool collecting club very soon!

The VINTAGE toolboxes of Garage Journal!

Oh I agree wholeheartedly. Sign said 20 years or older. Hard to think that 1992 is 25 years old.

    Wrench organizers

Thank you all for the comments & suggestions! I agree that there are some really nice options out there in preformed styles. Trouble is that they all expect a single set of wrenches to be organized by itself or are generic in 1 angle / 1 cut size for every wrench. I'm doing 1/4 up to 1-1/4 by...

    Benchtop Milling machine

Since we are talking 'Benchtop" & "Grizzly", allow me to introduce my G0773 Combination Lathe / Mill. I separated out the power feeds to each motor to allow for auto feed for milling operations. Only took 2 separate 20A breakers on a 100A subpanel.

    Wrench organizers

Shows us your ideas for wrench organizers. I like having 2 of each size together, so came up with a quick 'proof of design' a few years back & need to make a better version. Show us what you have or at least give ideas for an improved version.

    Large air tanks

Before HVLP paint guns came along, I was having to let the 80 gallon compressor at work rest, or charge back up more than I cared to rest myself. Now I have a measured 120 gallon tank from an old 138KV Circuit Breaker with a 2 stage Worthington as a project for my future shop.

The VINTAGE toolboxes of Garage Journal!

1992 Hard to think of these as old. Just picked up a vintage Kennedy Machinist box! Been needing something with small drawers for lathe inserts.

Used the draw bar to make a slide hammer. With a lot of PB Blaster, that did the trick! Nice #26 Oregon! What is the box on the wall? I love the VN Logo. I've seen it on some belt covers, but, mine is plain. Id like to see the 1RQ-3-28 that 454 mentioned too!
