    How Large Sockets Are Made

What is the reason that the socket was broached for the drive, instead of cut on the CNC?

    Water separator drain

Last weekend I picked up some regulators, filters, oilers and other odds and ends at an estate sale. I hooked a Wilkerson filter/water separator up to my diy fridge compressor, but the drain valve seems to continuously vent and not close. There were a few bowls with the same type of drain...

feasible 4 stage compressor for shop air?

Its been a while since I volunteered, but back when I did the department had a maintenance team (paid) - there is a lot of equipment to keep in proper working order, not even counting the trucks. And the air was used as often as possible. Every call the tanks went on, training too. Why not-...

VISE REPAIR 101 all vise repairs, lubricants, sources for parts and the tricks to fix

Thanks! I'll knock it out tonite. (I hope) And for anyone interested in original vice colors-after electrolysis the horrible applied orange paint stripped right off (no pics from then), leaving patches of black paint that I had to scrape off -no blue to be seen anywhere.

VISE REPAIR 101 all vise repairs, lubricants, sources for parts and the tricks to fix

I recently inherited a Morgan Chicago 140 fro my FIL, and after reading a few posts here dropped it in an electrolysis bath for a week (my battery tender with a hot wheels battery in parallel only put out ~1v when hooked up). When I took it out and stripped it I found there is a pin or something...
