Last weekend I picked up some regulators, filters, oilers and other odds and ends at an estate sale. I hooked a Wilkerson filter/water separator up to my diy fridge compressor, but the drain valve seems to continuously vent and not close.
There were a few bowls with the same type of drain valve but they all seem to have the same problem (which might indicate that i'm the problem?
).
I took the valve apart, but I cant figure out how it would ever work to seal the bowl under pressure but vent the water.
I've attached some pics- hopefully someone can tell me what I'm doing wrong, otherwise some suggestions on how to plug it would be appreciated.
