Tools you know you’ll never use

Ha, I almost bought similar tool some time ago. It looks cool but I started to think where will I need it and I couldn't think of anything that I cannot reach with screwdriver or bit ratchet. So thank God I didn't get it. The tool that I have and still never used it, is set of retaining ring...

Which type of crimping pliers for home use

Actually, this Astro set is very cheap. I have found same set under the brand Toolcraft and it cost twice than Astro.

Which type of crimping pliers for home use

I guess that this would be perfect set, but maybe is little too much for home set. Near me there is small set, these pliers with two set of teeth, it's also very cheap. Maybe that one would be decent for simple home use.

Which type of crimping pliers for home use

Solid. But recently I had to connect room heaters which had stranded wires, for some I needed to replace power cables and I replaced them with solid. I have to connect them somehow. But anyway I need some crimping pliers.

Which type of crimping pliers for home use

It's for home use and I don't know what I can expect when I need to install or repair something. So to avoid buying each time a new set of specific pliers, I was hoping to have something in my box ready for general use.

Which type of crimping pliers for home use

So far I've been connecting isolated types with spade connectors, but I guess that I can stumble on different types in different equipment.

Which type of crimping pliers for home use

Hello my good people, Been thinking about buying some crimping pliers for home use since from time to time I have to connect some heaters or lights, in general home equipment. WD-40 - What is it actually good for??

Aside from cleaning hands, tools. I also use it for cleaning machine parts. Boiler nozzle filters, or any small mesh filters, for cleaning fuel injector nozzles from particles or water, from cleaning any sort of diesel or heavy fuel, grease... Lubricating rusty threads. But I don't care is it...

    Cringeworthy hack tool repair videos

Ah, YouTube is full of such videos. Don't waste your time on that. Instead, I just discovered Allen Millyard channel. At first I thought it's some ****** DIY guy by watching him washing parts with hose in his garden, but it changed my mind very quickly. So I recommend that instead.

Engine driven pump? ****, my apologies, didn't pick up that one.

Pressure washer pump is discontinued, trying to avoid buying new

I just checked random youtube video and pump is of piston type (what is expected because higher pressures can be built only by gear, screw and very high by piston pumps). So three pistons are pushed in sequence by rotating sloped plate. This is common principle in hydraulic systems (hydraulic...

Pressure washer pump is discontinued, trying to avoid buying new

So what's wrong with the pump? I never messed with pressure washers, but if it's not running at all, maybe it's just some contact? Maybe capacitor, maybe current/voltage relay that engages capacitor? These items are very cheap and they can be easily replaced.

Did you ever broke impact socket?

Sorry guys, I didn't aim for specific brand just general opinion since I live in Europe. Choice here is not so diverse at the lower price point. We don't have tekton and similar brands that offer cheap decent tools. But I'll find something.
