I just picked up a New Old Stock Snap-on Ethos scan tool with the obd1 kit. All the stuff was brand new in the box. Its only running 8.4. Can it be updated to the new 16.4 or is it too old? I bought it at a pawn shop for $125.00. I figured it would work on my vehicles 2005 f150 1999 mountaineer...

$25,000 used tool box must be big. What kind/model of tool box did he have?

How long did they run it after they put the hole in the pan? Not very long judging by the size of that hole. Kinda make you wonder if the engine was oil starved. I be surprised if all it needs is the pan fixed.

I don't mind metal socket rails with clips. It's just all I ever used and I am use to it. When I am working on something I just grab the rail of sockets and ratchet and am on my way. If you stand them up they take up a lot less room in the drawer than other systems. They do work better once...
