    The VISES of Garage Journal

Thanks for the comment. I got that jaw out. Here's some pics. Where is the best place to order replacement jaws. I haven't been on here for a while but I know there's a member here that sells them out of Colorado. Thanks in advance. I'd like to get the new jaws and then work on cleaning up all...

    The VISES of Garage Journal

I picked up my first and second Wilton ever today. Guy was selling the C2 and told me about the 450 also. Paid 250 for the pair. Not sure if the price was way too high or what. There is no vises around here for sale. The base on the 450 is cracked, I think I found a few on eBay reasonable. The...

    The VISES of Garage Journal

All it really takes is a few competitive people bidding to drive prices high. (Although that's really high) when I started buying on eBay I found myself in bidding wars(probably against the seller under a different acct) and spent too much money for a few items for the simple fact I didn't want...

Do Spline Drive wrenches and sockets ****? whats your experience with them?

The wrenches had plastic retainers that broke easily to hold in the Wrench mechanism. He replaced them with metal snap rings and said no complaints now. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk

Every single day. I try to have a vise within arm's reach of anywhere I may be doing a project. Some places there could be several in arms reach all mounted and being used Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk

The VINTAGE toolboxes of Garage Journal!

Not sure if this is vintage enough to be here. A craftsman box I picked up a while back has some initials dating back to 1965 Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk

Show your Indestro and Duro-Chrome tools

I just seen this post. These look similar to what you have there. I don't see indestro or any other company name on them. There is a patent date. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk

    Drill press powered wire wheel

I've had the Morse taper along with the Chuck come out. It gets pretty hairy for a few seconds. Just not sure where the hell to go when it happens. Duck and cover Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk

Craftsman 100 Table Saw and other old vintage Craftsman tools.

I trashed my back gear, bull gear came loose while I was very stupidly doing some extremely heavy cutting. I got the new back gear but think I need to replace the bull gear also. I don't know about your Chuck but I have to tighten mine pretty tight not to slip. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A...
