Garage condo owners here as part of larger complex?

I am in the process of building a 30 X 45 condo in MN, it will include a bath and 15 x 30 mezzanine. I wasn't really interested in the motorclub vibe as I just needed a place to keep my collections of man stuff. After looking and dreaming for years I found a property about a half hour away and...

If I did it over I would have gone with zone heating and cooling. In your case I think the mini split is the way...

    Traffic light wiring

For mine I went the simplest route possible, I put a flasher button in the base of the yellow lens and leave the green and red on all the time, it is not synchronized but it still looks o.k. Also I use 15 watt incandescence for the bulbs, they do not generate too much heat and they are just...

Stop the peak - garage door windows

I think I purchased the darkest film the home store had available but as soon as I fired up my neon signs and lights at night you could still look into the garage so I just did the poster board thing because I had some around. I left the tint on because it does give the windows a nice blacked...

Stop the peak - garage door windows

I ran into the same problem with the window film, I left it on and purchased some black foam board that is used for the back of posters, cut it to the frame size and used heavy duty velcro to attach it. It works great and easily comes off if you want some light in the garage or for cleaning.
