What I ended up with is a total of 13' side walls - 8" concrete curb, 12' studs cut to 11'-11-1/2" so with the plates it works out to 12'-4". For the trusses they are scissors with a 6/12 over a 4/12 inside, so it's about 16'-7" to the peak inside. My kids use it all the time and can shoot...
I'm thinking I want to try to get close to that hammered green color, nothing against the vintage machine grey, but the walls in my shop are grey, so I'd like it to stand out a bit.
Unfortunately I don't have the handles since it's mounted on to a stand that I'm pretty sure came with it, I did...
I recently acquired a vintage Delta Rockwell 10" radial arm saw - (sorry for the poor lighting in the picture and the mess, it's still in the barn that I need to get it out of)
This saw was my grandpa's and I would like to restore it to it's original glory - from what I can find from Vintage...
I just recently built a garage that is 32' wide by 48' with custom trusses that are a 6/12 outside, and 4/12 inside, my wall height is finished height of 13', my studs are a 11'-11-1/2" so by the time I added the two top plates and the bottom plates, with an 8" concrete curb I'm at 13'. Studs...
It's a little farther along that these pictures, but this is pretty much it. We can can't shoot the outside corner 3's, but we can shoot about 60-70% of the rest of the arch.
I didn't think of the fire protection factor on the spray foam, though I plan on covering the remainder of the wall with a wood of some kind so not really an fire protection there any way? I do like the fabric panels and mineral wool idea.
It will be kind of a multi use building, but mainly basketball, woodworking, and parking my boat, lawnmower, etc., I plan to have dust collection and an air cleaner in the "shop" area. Only hobbyist type woodworking, nothing of major production.
I'm building a 32 x 48 garage, the walls are 13' and the trusses are 6/12 over a 4/12 scissor. I have white Menards Dura panel on the ceiling, but I want to try to keep the noise level down. I'm thinking of putting a row of the acoustical liner panel on the top 3 feet of the walls. Behind the...
That looks like a nice space! I like the 76 or 77 Ford Grill on the wall. I'm hoping the liner steel comes sooner than they say, I but I know I'm going to have to blow the insulation in stages or lifts anyway. Is that the vapor barrier that is exposed there?
Calling all or any Wisconsin or any cold weather climate builders - I'm in the middle of building a garage/woodshop/gathering place/kid cave. It is 32 x 48 with 13 ' side walls with 6/12 over 4/12 scissor trusses. I'm going to be blowing cellulose in the ceiling, but want to get started before...
Calling all parents of kids that play basketball.
Looking at building a 32' Wide x 60' Deep garage with 12' walls and 6/12 parallel chord trusses. I'd like to put a wall mounted basketball system on the side wall. Is this going to give me enough head room? I'm not looking to shoot the entire 3...
