Snappy CT761 Trigger Issue: Fix or send in?

Sorry to bring up an old thread but did you send it in and what was the condition when it came back? I ask as I have an impact I’ve had for years that is best to snot. Nose cone has little paint, body is great and the motor just burnt up. For $125 that’s a pretty good deal if it comes back...

Snap-On cordless tools "sweating" with boots installed?

Sorry to bring this old thread up but I experienced this today. Had an issue with my first SO 3/8” 14.4 impact. Thought the trigger was going and the impact looked greasy. I wipe it down and don’t beat my stuff up. Removed the boot and there was a slime inside the boot and all over the nose and...

I ended up getting the flip socket set for 1/4” to help that.

Same goes for cordless ratchets and impacts. All about time savings. At what point does the cost outweigh? It was Jack Olsen that gave me the idea for the grinders with his garage. Have a bunch of HF grinders that I buy. When they blow, I just check them and move on.

Bendpak decision: Good, Bad & Ugly

I had an issue with my 4 post lift being damaged in shipping. My installer was great and noted damage on the bill laden when picked up. That being said, Bendpak kinda buckled and dined me a little bit, ultimately after calling them out they made somewhat good and I’m satisfied. Would I use...

Swapping out an older craftsman box. Scored this for $200 on the way back from Cabelas the other day. Bottom edges are a little beat up but nothing that can’t be made better. I did have to grab a piece if wood and a mallet to straighten the lower brace under the bottom drawer. Now it no longer...

    The Milwaukee addiction thread! :)

I did a 9.0 battery swap during COVID. Like others, no receipt etc. there was apparently a recall and depending on the date on the battery, they’ll just swap out.

    Ingersoll Rand 1/2” impacts

Thanks guys. I think I’ll just list them on eBay. I really have no use for them if they are relatively weak. I have a SO 325 that is okay for when I need more then my Milwaukee has in it.

    Ingersoll Rand 1/2” impacts

So I bought a lot of tools and it’s included stuff I don’t know much about. Truth be told, I rarely use air tools as I can accomplish almost everything I need with just my Milwaukee stuff. I picked up a IR235 and IR2707p1 1/2” impacts. They are both new in box and likely NOS. Everything I see...
