Looking to purchase affordable rotary (quiet) air compressor. What do you think of this model?

You can probably trace the wires for alarm, fan, compressor etc & hook them up. Schematic is on the control

Need some help with concrete calculations

Yah, thanks for the input. I was trying to work out the basics but I keep getting lost in the calcs. Those prints aren't meant to be final but to explain the concept. Culvert is shown for elevation, it will actually be on an end wall, with a sealed blast door.

Need some help with concrete calculations

Here is the entire Swiss guideline. It is a design manual for approved shelter construction. In other words, shelters have to be built to meet these guidelines. The Swiss are considered the experts in this field, and they went to a whole lot of trouble to write these guidelines. There are many...

Need some help with concrete calculations

The Swiss guidelines have formulas for most of what I need. I just have to figure out how to apply them. I may well end up having to hire an engineer.

Need some help with concrete calculations

These drawings give some idea of what I'm working on. Existing house on left, new addition on right. Includes "root cellar" as shown. Pretty good with walls at 10in thick. Ceiling should be ok at 12 in thick with the right rebar reinforcement. Thinking about casting a beam as shown for...

More storage! Alternative to shipping container

Thanks! Inside is ratty, but I don't care as long as it is dry! And it looks OK on the outside.

More storage! Alternative to shipping container

drawing i sent to spring company. You have to weigh the outside edge of the door when level. Because of the angles involved, the tension needed to lift the door is higher than this weight. Plus, you need to have the proper size pulley to accommodate the cable length when the door is up.

More storage! Alternative to shipping container

Like many others here, I have too much stuff and not enough room for it all. It's gonna be a few years before I can build my shop. So I figured I'd buy a shipping container for storage in the meantime. However, they aren't cheap, they are very heavy and hard to move. For my needs, I decided...

Looking to purchase affordable rotary (quiet) air compressor. What do you think of this model?

Personally, I'd rather get the compressor set up for single phase. Setting up a VFD can be a challenge especially to optimize everything. I do believe other manufacturers offer single phase options, usually 3 phase machines where the VFD will work with single phase input. So far I am pleased...

Custom 3D printed multi-color tool organizers

We use Prusament PLA filament for our parts by default. It is plenty strong, and resistant to oil and gas. SInce the letters are printed in color, the color won't wipe off. If someone has a need for very high heat resistance, we would use a different filament.
