The hot tub is about 50 feet from the main panel with AA-8030 aluminum wire going to the hot tub sub panel. If someone could give me an idea what wire to run to from the hot tub panel to the garage subpanel and the size of the subpanel that would work in the garage.
I have a 200 amp panel in my house and all the spaces for breakers a taken. I have a 100 amp breaker with aluminum wire running to a 100 amp subpanel on the back of my house for my hot tub. My question is can I run another subpanel off of this subpanel for my garage that is about 60 feet away...
I did get specs from another steel carrier and he spec'd out four 12-19lb beams with the same decking. So I am definitely getting an engineer to draw it up. Those beams are half the weight of the other steel carrier's specs and the same price was quoted.

I looked at the walls of my house tonight in my basement garage and see the builder used an 8" beam on a 6" wall with the 4" brick ledge on the exterior and my house has two floors supported with this set up above it. I was hopefully looking for an engineer or someone who has a similar set up...
