Great thread and great build! Love the creativity on the clock and especially like the old school BMX bike. I'm a BMX junkie myself and have rebuilt all of my childhood bikes except one (and that's next!).

Another idea vs trying to buy the land is offer a long term lease agreement in exchange for the right to do the repairs on the lot. Otherwise I'd say something to the effect of "I understand how you feel but in order to support my long term business plan, I won't be renewing my lease with you."

Patience is a virtue :) Try using the search feature. I just tried "remove coating" and got several hits that will answer your question.

Thanks for the info. The slab has NOT been parked on though, so I'm certain it will still settle under the weight of several cars parked on. The home has sat unoccupied this whole time.

Thanks for the replies everyone. The concrete in the garage certainly looks to be high quality, so I'd be surprised if it was poorly applied. I just want to ensure that I don't wind up with a hole one day where my lift and my cars used to be :shocking: I'll order up a test just to make sure.
