I have a dilema. I have the U-Coat-It epoxy floor and I want to remove it. Is ther a chemical that I can use on this?
Thanks.
Thanks.
Anyone?????????
There are a couple of options...
First, a Methylene Chloride based stripper is economical and works pretty well. However, it is environmentally hazardous and must be disposed of as hazardous waste.
We have several very 'pricey' waterbased environmentally benign strippers that work well. These strippers can be hosed right into a drain or even onto vegetation (like grass). The vegetation must be pre-wetted with water prior to hosing them out to avoid shocking it. The downside is the price... You could probably rent a scarifier or shotblaster cheaper.
We can get MC based strippers for you but they are available just about anywhere. The've got to be sent via truck...
