I prefer the craftsman quite glide boxes over the non griplatch ball bearing boxes because of that annoying detent as you close it, my tools always slide forward along with the liner pad everytime I close the drawer, its causing the liner to bunch up exposing about a couple inches of metal.

I usually use F4 tape to gain some grip on tools that I mainly use on greasy jobs, also use it to enlarge the handle area to shape my hand better.

not familiar with the process but i believe the widely used term for "energizing" a generator is called "flashing the field". Throw that in google and some info should come up. Good luck.

-Knipex plier wrenchs -easy outs

Those plier wrenchs have saved the day for me quite a few times on my off station repair jobs. My knipex tools have held up quite well with heavy usage.

Amazon has the 500 series felos for 28.19 shipped. Those felos are pretty damn nice in my opinion.

Out of all the non truck brands what brand of sockets tends to have the thinnest walls? Ive only used snap on and craftsmen sockets.

I'm also going to suggest keeping what you ordered, i'm pretty sure your cousin will be just as happy and grateful for the gift regardless. Besides those "special edition" releases are nothing more then a gimmick, I bet those logos rub off after some use.
