Interesting.. So if you had only one side capped would you use it for the top or the bottom? Is there a thought process suggesting one side vs the other? Thanks

No the column is hollow.. I was just asking if there was supposed to be a plug at both ends vs just the top of column..

Hello.. I recently purchased a Craftsman King Seeley 150 drill press floor model and just wanted to confirm that the column only has a plug on top and the bottom of the column remains hollow. It appears that way as well in the parts diagram Thanks... Loved this blog.. learned a lot.
