    Rousseau Tool Box review

My one wish is that the drawer bearings were sealed, they are well tucked in between the box and drawer and lubing them after a few years will be a pain. Also, if anyone has a good idea with what to do with 85 lbs of drawer dividers, it would be appreciated lol.

    Rousseau Tool Box review

Half because I need to be a showoff about my new thing and half because information about this company is very thin, I present to you THIS, my new Rousseau toolbox. 68" x 27" x 47.5" (including 7.5" of ground clearance) They have quite a few colors to pick and the two tone was no extra charge...

I've been looking at those proto double end ratchets for a bit now. Hoping I can grab the set of em, and not buy a second set of wrenches just for the ratchet half. How slim would you say the thickness is around those ends?

What do you personally use a speeder wrench for?

+1 for the big knobbed snap on handle. Too many times an impact has shattered the screw bit during removal, leaving chunks of bit stuck in the screw. I just turn to a screw knocker if true persuasion is needed.

Most important, but least used tool?

A snap on TM84. They say it's for carbs, but I pull it out whenever I need to remove a band clamp in a tough spot. Perfect design for not slipping off the screw the with that shrouded flat blade.

    Rousseau tool boxes?

Looking to get a 54" rolling tool box (specifically the R5GJE-3805) I see a few people here talking about their parts cabinets and such, but not the rolling shop boxes? Is there something driving folks away, or are they just a dark horse for this application?

    Gold plated Mac Tools

I have the gold 3/8 ratchet and use it semi-regularly. Got it for free, so I don't have any value ******* in it. It is nice because it helps remind me not to beat the piss out of whatever I'm working on with the handle. Not sure how the plating would hold up on those gold screwdrivers or...

    Tools of Japan

Maybe this explains why my order has been sitting without a shipping number for over a week. :( I really wanted those blue ratchets too.

Got some Tekton angle wrenches in. Still peeved that the 11/32 is out of stock. The CNC work is very obvious on some pieces, with half moons and path marks scattered about. Most obvious is the inconsistent lettering. Great, deep engraving on some and shallow rough ones on others. I'll take...

What is this wrench type for?

A fun novelty until you realize you need to turn the nut an entire flat for it to catch again.

    Thinnest Bit Ratchet?

+1 for the VIM ratchet. Combined with some custom ground bits it can go anywhere. Facom does make a "ULTRA COMPACT 1/4" BIT RATCHET" with the added benefit of a flat turning plane. The VIM ratchet ends are kicked up like a box end wrench, for better or worse. A lot of the posted ratchets...
