I picked up the $6 adjustable wrench set from Home Depot that we discussed Sunday. I compared them to Kobalt and to the new China made Crescent ones and they seem every bit as good as those. I know that isn't saying a lot but they are worth the 6 bucks. I put the 10" ones on some bolts and...
Yeah... I was just checking out the reviews, they are pretty mixed, some say sloppy, some say good. I guess that's to be expected. I may go buy a set and if they aren't good, I'll give them to my teenager. Ha ha...
6 or 8 months ago I wanted to buy a set of wrenches. I have teenagers and some of mine were disappearing and I wanted a matching set. I bought the 11 piece Husky polished set. I brought them home and opened them. They had chrome flaking already. I took them back and looked at others on the...
Look at the cost of replacement batteries before you make your final decision. I had a nice Dewalt, but when it came time to replace the batteries they cost as much as a new drill.
I'm glad you made this thread. I switched from Craftsman to Kobalt a few years ago. I have quite a bit of Taiwan Kobalt. But over the last year I've seen the Kobalt changing to Chinese and the quality is diminished. I'm looking for similarly priced better quality and you guys have given me...

Unless you are mounting over 15' high you do not want Hi Bays. Flourescent is still the way to go. LED is still a little too expensive. But the price is coming down everyday.
Hello everybody. I'm new to the Forum. Well, I just signed up. I've been just looking for a while. There's a wealth of knowledge and good advise on here. I'm glad there's a place like this.
Well Craftsman and Husky have been made in China for a while. I bought a set of Husky wrenches and the chrome started flaking of on the first use so I returned them. You can't hardly get away from China in the Big Box Stores. It is a deal on a Lifetime Warrantied tool. Maybe if you have a...
I have the 11 piece set of SAE and a couple of metric singles. They are Taiwan made and are about 2 years old. They are great wrenches. Better than Husky or Craftsman. I told my mom to get me this new set as soon as i saw them for $29. I didn't realize they were Chinese. I went to the...
