I might have to give them a try. I've been using similar gloves at the shop for a few months now and I don't want to touch a car anymore without em. I've even started to regrow hair on wrists. Made by Gojo, cloth glove with nitrile palm, very breathable, quite nice...

Brake lines do ****. Congrats on getting her done though. And lots of domestic cars have been using metric threading all over for a very long time. A bit more convenient when it comes to nuts and bolts IMO.
