Howdy strangers, I've lurked long enough and hate the build threads where I'm not allowed to view pics so I figured its time to join the community. This has definitely become one of my favorite internet sites since I stumbled across it months ago.
My name is Morgan. I'm an auto mechanic, or "technician" if you prefer industry speak. I've been working for a shop in downtown Minneapolis for the past 11 plus years now so I've amassed a relatively impressive collection of tools and cubic feet of toolboxes, too damn many it seems some days. Although tool acquisition seems to be one of the many great hobbies on here (as long as you don't add up too many receipts).
Like many other members I hope to one day build myself a detached 3+ stall dream garage with a tall enough ceiling for an above ground two post hoist. And I suppose I'll need a better set of house tools to go along with it (most of the house tools are the retired, cheap tools from my early days in the industry). But the idea is to spend less time at work and more time at home with the ability to do side projects for friends and cheapskates who dislike paying monies to a shop. The theory all hoping the income would be equal to or greater than my current. If not at least I'll have a sweet shop of my own.
Anyways there has been many great projects from you all on here and its been a great source of inspiration and ideas for myself and obviously others. So thanks everyone
