Jim C. and notlob, thanks for the heads up (and light scolding). This is one of my favorite sites and would not like to be banned. I've been reading here for several years.
Just thought these snap on sets might have been highly desirable and wanted to give this crew the opportunity for a trade...
Not trying anything underhanded. Just that waiting until I get another 95 posts may take me quite a while and I wanted to give this fine crew here the first shot at these nice Snap-on socket sets.
Not looking to sell, wanna trade.
Hi, Last fall bought a vintage Grey & Red Craftsman top and bottom. Excellent condition dated 1964 and stuffed with Craftsman and Snap-on tools, among others. South Florida Craig's List. I won't say how much i gave for it because I think the "You ****!" movement is vulgar and silly.
But I will...
Taumac, you inspired me to look for that era of Craftsman box. I've been a Craftsman guy all my life, up to the 90s anyways. I pick up older quality craftsman tools when I can so an old Craftsman box made sense.
This big beautiful box replaces an older smaller Craftsman box my wife bought me...
Hello, first post. 1964/65 Craftsmen. Craigslist find. Good overall condition, rattle can paint job on boxes, red drawers in fine condition. Came stuffed with tools (Snap-On. Craftsmen, many others.) Locks work with 2 sets of keys. Enjoy!
Been lurking this fine site for a couple of years. Needed a new tool box so did a lot of reading here. Got a great old (1964) Craftsman top and bottom off Craig's list. Will post the story and photos soon. I'm a DIY motorcycle and car guy....and anything else around the house that needs fixing...
