What would you say the max in insert would be before I run into other problems like needing a new spring or changing how far the opener brings the door back? To do this I am going to have to raise all the tracks as well as the spring bar etc.

I only need a couple more inches and wanted to know if its possible to insert a few inches of track to accomplish this without changing to a full high lift conversion? Something like this: However I am having trouble finding anyone who sells this. If anyone knows where I can buy please let...

Did you have to get new parts to do this or just cut a V in the existing track to allow for a sharper angle to raise than the 90 degree? Also is there instructions anywhere on how to modify the tension on the spring? Assuming this is a DIY type thing.

Someone recommended the Bandpak Hd 9 xw to me. Is it worth spending more for this? Not sure i want to have to use a compressor.
