I have some craftsman ratchets 1/4" 3/8" & 1/2" Most if not all need to be rebuilt due to slippage. Need to make sure if there is one good one left or not before I exchange a working one. But... Any of these worth keeping and rebuilding or just get an exchange? Can you get free rebuild...

Were you successful in taking it apart and back together? I have the same one and my newton lens is smashed and the ft lb seems like it is not centered. In the lens you see 2 different numbers. On a different Crapsman torque wrench the plastic locking sleeve is missing that I wanted to replace.

I bought 1/4-20 L.H. and they are too big so those might be somewhat standard for 1/2" chucks. I think they might be 10-32 L.H. or a metric around that size.

The tare weight on these tanks are 16.6 lb and on my "accurate" shipping scale it shows one at 31lb 7oz and the other at 30lb and 12oz So it is in the 15 lb range
