I am a big fan of mine as well. I installed it about 3 yrs ago I believe. I have a 12' tall bay in a 3car garage and opted for a MaxJax so that I could move it when I didn't need it. One of the posts gets moved very infrequently. Works very well for me.

Every new TV is bigger than the last. The new 72" moved the 50" which moved the 42" Samsung into the garage. Attached a 3.1 soundbar with wireless sub, a dvd/vcr combo to watch the old "trip" movies. Have the TV on a HD antennae which gets a couple dozen channels.

I had a 4x12' section of my 4" +/- thick garage floor cut and removed. Then rebar and "tie ins/pinned" drilled in around the perimeter and 4K concrete poured. Paid $3K. I then drilled 6" holes for a MaxJax install with epoxy anchors. No worries here and didn't want any.

I have had Racedeck for 2-3 yrs now and I just love this stuff. I have had no sliding issues like you described.

Here's mine. MaxJax bolted directly to floor and RaceDeck cut to fit around base.

I have RaceDeck wall to wall and under some heavy items; cabinets, workbench etc. I live in Florida and have north facing garage doors. Have the required gap and Not an inkling of movement, bowing etc.

And how and where do you dispose of the "old" stuff? And do you have the parts cleaners in your garages attached or otherwise? Doesn't stink up the place?

nholmes, can you tell me a little about using epoxy. You drilled 5 holes, cleaned them and then one by one you injected the epoxy, tapped an anchor in then on to the next. One tube for each post? I have 2 tubes and 2 mixers that came with the anchors. Can you walk me thru your steps? Thanks

Uh Oh! No more "In My Garage" posts since Feb 15. Yikes!!

I installed RaceDeck about a year ago and we love it. 800+sqft, in FL. The doors face to the north, no buckling, no clicking and it looks fantastic. I did put landscaping fabric under half of it and you cannot tell the difference. Much better to walk on with or without shoes than bare...
