I use a small roller cab as my tool cart a KRA4107. 40" 7 drawer for all my commonly used items but i also do alot of electrical work(4th year auto) and it still has lots of space and easy to move around. My main box is a 56" mastercraft chest (no top box) with a butcher block top on it. i paid...
You would think American manufacturers would jump at someone wanting to make something of quality. Call up Canada we will build that! haha cool product. I honestly think this is a great product and its sad that its not easier to get it made in NA. And dont go on shark tank they will find an even...
I would get the 3/8 in my opinion it sounds like that gun would suit you better if you want a do all gun its the closest. The batteries from the w7150 are 3ah and the 3/8 are 1.5AH i think but either one fits both guns so your call. BUT I do not own a 3/8 version and have never used one.
I only remove things with it as far as aluminum goes, like intakes and such i dont trust running small bolts in with it. The w7150 has alot of power and fast i use my 1/4 makita (impact & drill combo home depot 150$) if the vehicle is in the air tires and suspension its amazing battery is great...
Tough one I have the same air impact and i also have the w7150, and to be honest its a beast it is very bulky imo. I love it but I work in a shop/yard. There is no good gun for both the 7150 is too much light engine work I have a mikita 12v 1/4 impact a cheap *** 1/2 mastercraft for engine/interior.
Being in Alberta myself I feel your pain as far as tool selection. We dont have Matco or cornwell dealers here (at least I have never seen one). I have had the THLF72 for a little over a year now and its a great little tool. I would buy another.
Haha maybe, he doesn't like them and I understand why. We work in a shop its just the two of us if i dont have the proper tool he does, I dont have alot of things he doesn't. But we share tools all the time nothing ever locked or worried about getting stolen and such. we both have adjustable...
Lovely example - "My auto tech mentor says I can't use this tool!" LOL. I would smack him upside the head with it and call it useful.
idiot response I agree but jiffy lube will put out 50% of what people think they need to be a responsible motorist after all they did change their oil! right...
GeneralDisorder I owe you an apology I reread your post I was wrong it kinda sounded like you were saying mechanics cant problem solve. Thats welders... haha totally joking im one of those unfortunate souls also.
Are you ******* kidding me? im sorry but are you talking dealerships? We do tons of one off jobs, never am I wondering where my adjustable wrench is. We dont have to make tools everyday but its not uncommon
I use a mix of mastercraft(china) old proto canada and fuller. grand total 8 screwdrivers. Use them everyday find what you like/need, use em. I have well over 100 they get weeded out very fast i have less than $40 into them. All of them!
