I have this wrench from my dad and none of the numbers don't add up. It says 3/8 7/16 & 28 but none are the right sizes.

Any ideas on what this would of been for? The 3/8 side is closer to 5/8 or so and the 7/16 side is closer to 3/4

Whitworth spanners, the size on the wrench indicates the width across the flats of the nut or bolt

Frederick Bartholomew Whitworth...

Best name for a spanner ever... Actually if Sir Joseph Whitworth
had a son I could so easily see him being named that.

Page-Storms Drop Forge Company

The Page-Storms Drop Forge Company was founded in 1902 by Edward C. Page and Frank F. Storms, with operations in Chicopee, Massachusetts. The company operated primarily as a merchant drop forger, but also produced a line of open-end and pipe wrenches.

In 1919 Page-Storms was acquired by the Moore Drop Forging Company of nearby Springfield, Massachusetts.

Correct.

And it's not Whitworth. The 28 is the size under the old Industry Standard system and denotes an OE wrench of sizes 19/32" x 25/32".

been a while since i was very active here.... kind of nice getting back into the swing of IDing old oddities
