I'm asking about the 30 amp breaker because I want to count up the hots vs the neutrals in the panel. The double pole 50 amp for the AC should only have 2 hots and a ground...
Makes sense. We have 2 double pole breakers. One for the AC, which was installed years ago, so I will assume 2 hots and a ground. What about an electric wall oven on a 30 amp breaker? The hots going in the breaker look like a #10 to me.
I unfortunately hired an electrician that turned out to be hard to work with. Anyway, I thought he mentioned having shared some neutrals in the panel, but then he claimed that he didn't. Initially he had a couple of 20 amp breakers with handle ties, then he rearranged the breakers very quickly...
