    Proto Tools Current COO??

Not positive, but I think Beta tools come from Italy and they can be seen all over pit areas in F1 and other Euro auto racing. I doubt the guys in F1 would be using subpar tools.

Looks like Estwing is moving at least some production to Taiwan

You can get USA made prybars from Vaughan. I know the Superbar is made in USA for sure. Not sure about the others, but I am sure a simple email to them would give you an answer. http://hammernet.com/vaughan/index.php

    What's a slightly used KRL1022 worth?

Also having purchased tools through the Snap-On Industrial rep at school before I graduated last year, I am pretty sure you can't even get the KRL boxes with your discount. I could be wrong, but I think the discount was limited to the Classic series and Heritage series boxes.

    What's a slightly used KRL1022 worth?

No top. Just the cover which I don't even use. And like someone said, once you add the interest, I ended up paying for that gift card. I still feel I got a decent deal even at $3750 for my box. It is very well made and unless someone hits it with a bulldozer, I will probably keep it until I...

    What's a slightly used KRL1022 worth?

I have a black krl1022 I bought used. I got it for $3000 off the truck. Snap-on had a deal going on at the time so I got a $750 gift card to use for tools.

    Question for Diesel Techs

I think when it comes to basic sockets, ratchets, and wrenches, you can't go wrong with most USA companies. Just make sure he can cover from 1/4" up to 1 1/4", 7 to 24mm and he should be pretty well covered to start. I think things like hammers, pliers, chisels, and prybars are what get...

How many of you know what these are...?

Thanks garfunkle24. I have never seen those before. I can see how they would be great to have. Looks like more tools to add to my ever growing list of stuff to have.

Milwaukee Mag drill on clearance at Home Depot?

The new sawzalls are still made here. I looked at one at Home Depot recently and they have the "Made in the US with global parts" on the box. Seems to me that they still make the larger or industrial items here. The circular saw, small drills, small grinders, and cordless tools are all imported now.

    My Latest eBay Find

Looking at those sockets, they have the same markings as some recent Armstrongs before they went to the laser etched logo. I don't think you got lower tier sockets at all. Heck of a good deal.

    Let's see your toolbox.

I do this when hooking the hose itself up or disconnecting it from the line on the wall. Most of the time I can get the air line on the tool ok. I actually have a harder time with all my "regular" sized tools. We use the Milton T-style (maybe P?) couplers with 1/2" air hoses on the reals around...

    Let's see your toolbox.

That's a good idea. I am 5'10"/175-180, so I know what you mean. I get a lot of guff from some of the others about my strength limitations. I usually don't mind but sometimes it's embarrassing when it takes 2 or 3 times to get the damn air line on when a customer is standing there.:lol_hitti

    Let's see your toolbox.

What kind of combo wrenches are those (the industrial finish ones) and what's with the elbow on your 3/4" guns air line? Any special reason or did you not have a straight coupler?
