Just today, changed five tires on my 1 ton Chevy service truck. The old tire machine performed quite well, and the beadblaster function gave the bead seating a boost. Glad to have it in my shop, and ready to use on tires and wheels on many of my pieces of equipment.

Did you find the problem with the right pedal? I possibly discovered the issue. When I went to put mine all back together, it did exactly what you described. I took the two bolts out of the right foot pedal, and held it out a bit, as I tightened the bolts. It works well, now.

Sounds to me like your right pedal is not engaging the air pressure valve, or the valve is froze up. I have been working on mine, and have it torn down, replaced some air hoses, changed the oil in the reservoir, and lubes up some moving parts.

Running this a second time, in hopes of getting a solid answer. I'm refurbishing the machine, and have drained the hydraulic oil. I understand it takes a special oil, and have identified three options through a cross reference chart. The information I've gathered tells me to fill it to one inch...

I've been told to only use the Shell listed, or one of these found on the cross reference table I found. Shell tellus 21 hydraulic oil Empac 4061 Mobil velocite 10 spindle oil. Thanks for your input. Looking forward to hearing from others, too.
