I didn't get a chance to read this whole thread so not sure if someone suggested this but I use a couple old furnace blowers. They move tons of air (usually push air through your entire house). They work great and they take up a small area and you can mount them pretty much anywhere.
The T5 H/O bulbs are great very bright and light up quick in the winter. I have 3 8ft lengths of lights on 3 switches with a total of 12 48" bulbs. It's like daylight in there when needed.
