Picked up a Weaver WA-72 jack awhile back for $25. Just got around to looking at it. It is missing a few parts (handle lock rod & spring), but I was looking for some input from the jack gurus. It does not leak. Pumps up half way(is low on fluid, don't have any correct fluid to top off yet)...

MeridianCreek, Thanks. It turned out to be alot of fun. I used electrolysis to remove the paint and rust, then just wire brushed, primed & painted. Be sure to remove the aluminium label first.

OK, after looking at all the resto's on here, I thought I would try my hand at it. I wanted to redo one of my Dads old boxes. My intent was to make it look like the day he first bought it. But after stripping the paint and finding "pipe fittings" written by him on the lid, under several coats...

Just finished a vise I found on CL. (I think a Wilton? ) It has aluminum jaw pads.

My next two. A little Stanley and a Littlestown.

Been lurking around and learning for a while now. Thought I would post a few picks of my first vise redo. Found it in my dads barn and good one to learn on.
