Questions regarding the Harbor Freight 44" box for those that own them

When I bought mine, the "forklift operator" ran over a small pot hole and the box fell off the lift. They loaded a different one up for me. I recommend tightening the bolts holding on the wheels. Half were loose. I when I unloaded the box is laid it on its back to tighten the casters then...

The official RISER and HUTCH Thread

A question for the Snap-on guys, I am replacing my hutch with the new style. I have the old one with the bifold door. Does the new style one come fully assembled, or do you have to put it together?

    1 1/4" emt

Do you have room for unistrut to be installed above the panel? Then use the conduit clamps that attach to the unistruth. This can be used to fill the gap between the conduit and the wall without bends. It also comes in two thicknesses.

https://www.prolighting.com/commercial-lighting/fixtures-indoor-fluorescent-industrial-strips/t844ssubcxx00p0-18w5k.html I like these. I am currently installing 12 in a 30x40 shop with 10' ceilings. The fixture is made in USA, the bulbs come with them are not, but seem to be of good quality...

Has anyone ever heard of this grinder?

I acquired a grinder just like it that is brown. I forget the name on it. I agree, cheap Chinese junk. It works but has very little power. Mine came free on a work bench. I wouldn't pay much for one.

    Riser/Hutch Lighting

I got a 4 foot flourescent under Cabinet light at home depot for mine 13 years ago. I have it plugged into a power strip and turn it on when I open the door for the day. It is mounted inside the riser on the top rear edge. No need to mount it to the door. I would check home depot for under...

    milwaukee fuel and no fuel

I have that set. The drill is on the weak side for my taste, but I have used it for around 4 years without issues on the original 1.5 ah batteries. I recently got a m12 4.0 ah battery for Christmas and the drill is a whole lot more powerful. No complaints on the m12 hackzall, just know it...

Need a new impact-M18 fuel or air?

If air is readily available everywhere you plan to use it get the air. A good pneumatic impact should outlast any electric impact due to the compressed air is a standard power source. Years from now these M18 lithium ion batteries will become obsolete and replaced just like the ni-cad...

    LED downlight in 19x23ft garage.

Do they spread the light out wider than the home Depot ones? I have installed a couple of lights similar to those from home depot in a garage bathroom. 2 in an 8x10 bathroom was plenty of light. I like that you can install them in regular 4" ceiling boxes, much cheaper than installing can...

RIDGID lifetime service agreement - is it a scam?

I got the 2 pack of 4.5" grinders on clearance for $59.99 last summer. Promptly registered online and was declined 2 weeks later. Next hoop , mail original recipt, upc, copy of email. A month later I get an email that it was approved. Much more difficult than it should have been. Hopefully...

    LED downlight in 19x23ft garage.

I don't think a flourescent can lights will be any brighter than these led ones. Buy a couple and experiment with them to see how many you will need to light it how you want. I took the guard off an old incandescent drop light and lit up one of the led trims with it to get an idea how the light...

    Garage light really basic questions

They make a plate for the 4" ceiling boxes that allows you to install a regular outlet where the light fixture is. Then plug the shop light into that.

    LED downlight in 19x23ft garage.

I have converted my can lights in my living room and kitchen with those. I have 4 in the kitchen and 4 in the living room, and area about 14 x 28 foot total for the two rooms and it is about as bright as you would want your living room, but a little on the dim side for the kitchen. We have 8...
