    New Race Deck Install

Nice idea tying the design of the floor to the design of the cabinets. It really completes the overall look of your garage.

    Cleaning Race Deck?

I have the free flow tiles and my secret weapon is a Shop-Vac. I bought the free flow to keep the dirt trapped so I wasn't kicking it up while detailing my car. It works great for that and the sand still surrenders easily to the vacuum.

    Swiss trax

Very nice design. I'm sure your baby will feel right at home with those colors. Hopefully you will update this thread with a picture of your new arrival in it's home.

Racedeck install - Freeflow and Diamond

Camera's just don't do these floors justice. You really have to see them in person. Very nice floor and some nice tips for others looking to do this on a tight budget.

    Racedeck vs. Costco brand

RaceDeck does have something to say about it on their site and will even sell you rolls of stuff to put under it if you don't want to go to a big box store and pick it up there. I'm not certain how large your garage is, but mine is a small two car and a half hour with a shop-vac and a wet...

    GarageDeck installed

What a difference a floor can make. Very nice garage! What's that white stuff just outside your garage? :)

Guys with RaceDeck Floors got a question

Mid 30's this morning in north FL and walking around on the RaceDeck in socks did seem a bit better than walking on the concrete. However, we have these temps for a few hours. I imagine that having days and days of these temps would get both concrete and Racedeck equally cold. An underlay...

    RaceDeck Install Finally Completed

You greatly understate your efforts. Maybe not fancy, but definately fantastic! Very nice garage.

    Racedeck questions????????????

You will want to leave a quarter to half in gap around your installation to allow for expansion. If like me you have something like a HVAC system, pipes or other fixtures that you would have to tile around, you would leave a gap. The tile is pretty dead on 12 inches. What does vary is the...

    RaceDeck Vs. Others

I agree with you that someone putting down this type of flooring system should look at both. They were the finalists when I made my decision. From my experience, I can't agree with you about the colors being better with SwissTrax. The silver and blue I used for most of my floor appeared to be...

Designer Epoxy Floor on Man Cave Show in NJ

I have to agree with you. Real men wouldn't build a room with a conversation area and a fireplace. In fact the room would be dominated by a big screen for football, racing and movies with lots of explosions. Looking at all the hard surfaces, the room must be an acoustic nightmare. Put a pool...

    Another RaceDeck Install

When I do a car wash in the garage, I use a product called Optimum No Rinse which limits the amount of water that hits the floor. It does creates the same pattern of wetness on the floor as before I had the RaceDeck installed. In other words, it is not contained within the boundry of a tile...

    Racedeck Question

One of the things I saw when I was looking into plastic tiles were people talking about the sound the tiles made when walking on them. I did FreeFlow tiles throughout my garage and also installed an AccuPark. The Accupark comes with a couple of regular tiles for the base. Walking on them...

think i decided on flooring finally

The decision maker for me was the fact that you just put this stuff down and then get on with the rest of your life. No waiting for things to cure, dry, etc before you are using your garage again. If I was starting out with a new built empty garage, it would have been a whole different story.

    Another RaceDeck Install

Roughly (and I do mean real roughly) 19 X 16 ft. I had to cut tiles for the last row at the back of the garage and along the right wall. They must have used warped lumber when they built the forms for the raised portion in the back. I had to measure and cut each tile individually. The right...
