I have the free flow tiles and my secret weapon is a Shop-Vac. I bought the free flow to keep the dirt trapped so I wasn't kicking it up while detailing my car. It works great for that and the sand still surrenders easily to the vacuum.

Camera's just don't do these floors justice. You really have to see them in person. Very nice floor and some nice tips for others looking to do this on a tight budget.

I wouldn't recommend it. Since the floor is floating there will be movement and you will be grinding the heating elements between the flooring and concrete. I wouldn't expect the system to last very long under those conditions.

Very nice. I like the colors. How much of a gap is there between the tile and wall on the left side of the picture? I've been trying to plan out my garage and the idea of slicing off 2" of tile to fill the gap doesn't make sense to me.
