Thought I'd share a few pics of my garage I had built in 08. I got alot of great advice from this sight. I basically added a third bay. I used the outside wall as a divider between the third bay and the original 2 car garage. This way my Chevelle is locked up but the 2 car garage can be left...
I'm looking at epoxy coating and had a question.
I have a new garage floor and driveway and I would like to epoxy coat the garage floor but I'm concerned that when I acid etch it the run-off will stain/discolor my driveway when I rinse it out of the garage.
What will happen to the driveway when...
I have total of (10) 32 watt bulbs 320/120 = 2.6 amps. They are hard wired. They are on the GFI circuit because it was easy to tap into the one outlet in the existing garage to put the outlets and lights on the same circuit. Bringing over a seperate circuit just for the lights would be...
I put fluorescent lights and outlets in my garage and there is a GFI breaker in the main panel for this circuit. When I leave the lights on for around 10 minutes the breaker trips. The outlets are fine when I run things......no tripping. I've read that flourescent lights and GFI breakers don't...
Well this "goofball" homeowner added them to my 1 car addition. I had them already on my 2 car garage and wanted to keep the same look. I plan on adding paneled Haas doors with windows but I don't want the Dutch to cover up any part of the window so I'm looking at their Cascade or Sherwood...
Any opinions on Haas garage doors? I was looking at Coplay at Home Depot but the local garage door guy who sells Coplay and Haas doors suggests going with a Haas door. Haas looks and feels like better quality at the same price, acually a little lower price than the Coplay at Home Depot.
I just don't see how you can work on it. Dragging a jack over it.....putting jack stands under the car. Nice for show garages, but working ones? expensive too, 288sq. ft. is over $1,000 plus shipping.
