Help-I need new heat source for radiant floor heat.

Since you are in it so much I think you should stay with the floor heat and propane. You can have your old unit professionall checked or just replace it with new.

Finally, pics of my two year project!

I have been on the Garage Journal for a couple years now, mostly as a lurker. I have gotten many good ideas from here that I incorporated on my own shop. I am hoping to get some heat hooked up in the next week or two. The pictures start from a couple years ago before I got the shed completely...

    Air hose reel repair?

I bought a 50' for $40 at a swap meet. Took it apart only to find the old grease in it had set up like candle wax. A gal. or so of kerosene cleaned it up like new. Problem was rewinding the spring to put it back together. I wound up (pun intended) using 2 2x4's to hold the spring paralell...

    Raising 22x36 garage 5' - Any help?

It would be easier and cheaper to just raise the part you want a lift in but you also may want more ceiling clearance for a cherry picker in an adjoing bay. Having said that the whole roof could be raised without rebuilding the whole building. 5' is only half a story. You could build small...

    anyone have classic car insurance?

I had Hagerty for quite a few years, never had a claim but it was agreed value. I now have Grundy, it is less expensive. Again, it is agreed value. Still no claims but I have heard favorable reports from those who have.

    T8 upgrade ?

You don't say how many you will need. Big box stores have 4' t8's in bulk for greatly reduced price. They are called contractor price 30 to a box anywhere from $1 to $2 each. The brightest I could find are cool white. They seem to be pretty bright.
