What’s the proper tool for removing C clips on drum brake lever arm?

I always twist them open with a large Screwdriver then spread them with lock ring pliers. https://www.jbtools.com/wilde-tool-angle-tip-lock-ring-pliers-9-inch-with-satin-finish-g409-np-bb/

Whats killing the traveling tool vendor business

Just a different perspective. The trucks may disappear, but the USA "truck tools" won't. Multimillion dollar industries where equipment down times can cost multiple thousands per second or occupations where lives are on the line don't care about tool costs, but only about quality. Mechanics...

    The 9 Millimeter Socket

I'm confused about the mobile mechanic comments. If I was making my living being mobile, where time is money, I wouldn't want to be wasting an hour chasing a $4 to $15 socket/wrench/nut driver. Anyway, just my thought.

Tools and Bits To Improve DIY Automotive Wiring Quality

Definitely Tesa tape, as mentioned twice. Plastic split loom is cheapest at HF, and larger sizes at Home Depot. Woven wire loom looks better than plastic. You can get both split and non-split. Aluminum heat tape if running near exhaust...

What are Deep Sockets For? I've Never Needed One

Here is a demonstration where a deep socket and universal joint on an impact is the right solution. A wrench and prybar may work, but is inefficient. Starts at 4 minutes Deep is often needed on exhaust flanges with studs. Many people do not have 1" extensions. I have installed headers...

Looking for decent affordable bubble flaring tool

If you are looking for USA made: Look on ebay for Mac, or Matco metric bubble flare tools. All are USA made. Sorry I can't remember who makes the tool for them. I have no idea if the Bluepoint is USA made. I own a Mac version and it works fine.
