Can I make a suggestion?
If you ever decide to get a different blower, the STIHLs are the easiest in the world to adjust. The mixture adjustment screws are right out in the open and easy to get to. The tool is a simple 4mm hex driver which is available on eBay. The quality of the tool is exceptional.
Agree. I'll likely go shop Echo and Stihl. This one is a bit of a special case. My son completed a program a couple years ago where he volunteered to mow 50 lawns for disabled, elderly, veterans, etc. When he finished his 50 lawns, the founder of the program drove up from his home in Alabama and rewarded my son with a lawnmower, a trimmer, and blower. The equipment was all donated to the program by Lowe's, so it was all bargain barrell stuff. The trimmer and mower didn't make it a full mowing season. The blower is all that's left. I'd like to keep it useable for him as along as I can without dumping a ton of money into a disposable piece of equipment.
