Looking to install a Decent Electric Heater, Need advice

I am looking at a Comfort Zone CZ220 or A Newair G73 class electric heater to heat a small, 2 car garage. Estimated square footage ~300 square feet (15x20). The question I have concerns the connections. I currently have a 240v plug/receptacle I use for my welder or my air compressor. (one of the...

Welder - What's your thoughts on this cheap combo?

Hi folks. I just got the titanium 170 HF welder to give me a bit more flexibility. I was running the Hobart Handler 140. It seemed like a pretty good welder for what I needed, but it didn't have much flexibility. The Titanium has separate wire speeds and volts. The Hobart 140 seemed to be tied...

220v Extension Cord For Air Compressor, or ??

220v Extension Cord For Air Compressor, or ??

So I asked the electrician, since they were rewiring my kitchen, could you put a 20 amp circuit in my garage for my air compressor. He says sure. I get this: Now I'm pretty sure he puts in a 20 amp, 220v circuit. Not all bad, but now I need to convert my air compressor, and get an extension...

Need help with Gutters on my new shed

I was thinking of some kind of way of routing the water runoff from the rear gutter-I was thinking either a 4" corrugated pipe or even an underground 4" corrugated pipe to make sure the water wouldn't overflow between the berm and the building-otherwise I'd have water in the foundation again. :)

I noticed some water in my foundation in the new shed. I have no gutters and I am 100% sure THAT is why I have the water.... As it stands, my shed is setback into a berm, and I need ideas for placement and downspout locations. <a...

Question on New Windows and Siding

It's Finished!! Part Deaux OK so here it is. With drip cap and painted. I will redo the light green, it looks a bit lighter than the original, but I am thinking this MAY have been the primer the painter originally used.... Then, I will officially call this window project done.:)
