I view GJ as a means to become better informed about good vs good enough tools and tool storage. It also gave me tons of ideas for organizing my shop. But mostly...it made me buy every old vise and arbor press that I can find... I think I have an addiction.
Picked up a nice Dayton 3/4 HP bench grinder on CL. Didn't know it before hand, but it came with two stands. The black stand weighs at least 90 lbs. I mounted my big Chas Parker Model 804 1/2 to it over the weekend.
I picked up two sets of these. Put the long ones in the cars so the wife can get a tire off more easily paired with a cheap craftsman impact socket. Thanks for the deal info.
Picked up a 1/2 hp model with a stand off craigslist the other day. Runs a little rough, but I think it's just an unbalanced wheel. I plan to try it with the grinding stones removed to test tonight.

not sure if the price is good, but I bet someone would enjoy it.
