    Let's see your toolbox.

I will get a hutch for it eventually. I have a roll cart also that has everything I need to do most services or jobs so I doubt I will really outgrow this for quite some time. It mostly stores tools I don't as often, balancer pullers, tap sets, extractors, larger ratchets/breaker bars. my chrome...

    Impact driver

a cordless even if an impact doesnt work as well for rusted screws. the hammer blow forces it deep into the fastener and turns it. unless its a torx a phillips just wants to cam out. those things are truly beautiful for rusted phillips screws on older rotors. not many other uses for it. but it...

Oil drain pan that doesn't ****?

most of the ones with the caps and lids are hokey and the oring material is not viton so they swell and leak when they get exposed to gas/oil etc. i haven't found a good one yet. aside from the roll around drain buckets we have a bunch of these. It will hold 15 qts of diesel oil no prob. but...

    Let's see your toolbox.

Been fixing diesels out of a HF 44" and toolcart for the last couple years. Snappy gave me an offer I couldn't resist. KRL1022 with powertop. There's so much more room for activities! I dont think I will outgrow it as a 1 manufacturer guy. Maybe get a hutch eventually. If i outgrow it I can get...

    Air Impacts are DEAD

Weight is the only thing holding them back. Once battery tech is up to snuff in 5-10 years air tools will be on the out. Long way to go still.

    I'm tired of 9mm tools

11mm is pretty common. It's used on the turbo/exhaust and charge air cooler flex fitting clamps of international (and by extension, ford) diesels. I think most clamps of that style are 11's too.

    Recommend a small torque wrench

Most are 30,60,90*. Torque wrench + impact till the hole moves 30,60,90*

    Tonight's Finds at Sears

The pipe wrench surprises me. Are those made by WF like their crescents? I'm gonna have to go check mine.

    Air tools Recommendation

Ingersoll-Rand TI-Max. Gold standard in the industry. A lot of tool companies have rebranded IR's stuff and called it their own.

    Recommend a small torque wrench

Im partial to the split beams from precision. Adjust quickly and dont have to worry about setting them down to 0.

Are no scratch lug nut impact sockets worth buying?

Why? It's a wheel not a cylinder head. Just whammy them on with a 100ft-lb stick. Never had a comeback.

    The SK X-Frame Ratcheting Wrench

I love SK, and I want to like these but they made a terrible business decision making them 6 point and non-reversible :puke: Practically worthless.

    Pry Bar Set

I have the 3 pc craftsman red handle set with out the striking caps. I'm constantly borrowing bigger prybars from people at work. They are inadequate for working on cars.
