I know this is a bit off topic. But I've been refurbishing a Craftsman tool box. I painted it with rust-oleum custom premium lacquer matte black. It looks good but I was wondering if I should clear coat it. So far it seems pretty durable but.... if you decide to rattle can that paint seems good...

That's a great point that I have already considered. Being that I do t want to spend a ton on the struts and the cheap ones won't last I forsee me not changing them. Thanks for the input. Now to finish painting it.
