I ordered a quantity of large neodymium magnet from Epstein.
I received a cardboard box with the end blown out.
I complained and received another box..... a much more solid box with packaging.
I still have the magnets.
This is a Sheldon 423.
I got it from Ebay for ~ $200 delivered.
As near as I can tell is is copy or an OEM Wilton pattern makers turret vise.
It works very well and would be the end result of years of manufacturing experience. The Sheldons are so rare, I would think OEM is more likely.

I drilled a #36 hole in the center of the knee crank shaft. I tapped a 6-32 thread. I found a 0.525" OD 0.25" ID washer with clearance for the 0.625" hole in the crank handle, but only when concentric. Gravity pulls the washer off center and retains the handle.
I have a 1969 Bridgeport now, but for years I had a 1963 Rockwell 21-100.
I rebuilt the head on the Rockwell, and when the ram came out it tried to cut my hand off.

4 days ago I got a Colombian 604 off ebay for $125 + $25 shipping.
What showed up was a 75 pound 604 1/2, which is bigger.
I have been cleaning off the rust and today I painted with Aluma Hyde II one part epoxy spray paint in a can.
I bought a bench at the old Boeing Surplus store 15 years ago for $75 to get the Columbian 504 vise that was attached.
Today I saw on this forum that the 604 was the same thing but swivels, so I got one off Ebay for $150 TYD.
